Basic Terms of Service

Welcome to Discrete Pet Waste Management!

Thanks for trusting us to keep your yard clean. This document outlines our simple agreement to ensure everything is clear and fair for everyone involved.

1. Our Promise & Your Part

We promise to show up and do a great job scooping your yard. To help us do that, you agree to:

-Ensure our scooper has safe, clear access to your yard.

-Keep your pets secured (or let us know if they're friendly) so everyone stays safe.

-Give us a heads-up about any hidden hazards, like a grumpy garden gnome or an underground bee nest.

2. Service Rates & Billing

We believe in fair and transparent pricing. You agree to pay the rates agreed upon at the time of scheduling each month. Our rates may fluctuate up or down over time based on our operational costs (like fuel, supplies, and wages). This allows us to remain competitive while ensuring we can continue providing reliable, high-quality service. We will always provide you with notice before any rate changes take effect.

3. Our Fairness Policy

We run a tight ship, and we know your time is valuable. Our billing is based on showing up ready to work:

-Our Fault? No Charge. If we ever miss a scheduled visit that was our fault, you will not be charged for that service.

-Wasted Trip? Full Charge. If our team shows up and cannot perform the service due to an issue on your end (like a locked gate, unrestrained pets, or a yard that can't be accessed) without at least 12 hours' notice, the full visit charge will still apply. We blocked that time for you and couldn't use it elsewhere.

-Cancellation Notice. To avoid a charge for a cancelled visit, we simply need at least 12 hours' notice. This gives us a chance to adjust our route and schedule.

4. Service Quality & Redos

We strive for a perfect clean every time. However, sometimes the condition of a yard can make it impossible to find every single piece of waste. In cases where service quality is impacted by yard conditions—such as grass that is too long, an extremely thick layer of leaves, or standing water, the service is considered completed and is not eligible for a refund.

Our Commitment to Quality: That said, we want you to be happy. If such a condition is corrected by you (e.g., you mow the long grass), just let us know. We will make a special return trip to re-scoop the entire yard for free, as soon as possible—even the same day if our route allows.

5. How We Handle Problems

We aim for 100%customer happiness. If you have a concern, please tell us right away—we'll work with you to make it right. If we ever have a disagreement we can't resolve between us, we both agree to use binding arbitration instead of heading to court. Here's what that means in plain English: · We'll use a fair, neutral third-party arbitrator (through a recognized organization like the American Arbitration Association). · It's just between you and us—no class action lawsuits, no joining up with other customers. · By agreeing to this, you're waiving your right to a jury trial. · This process is simpler, faster, and more private for everyone.

6. Liability Stuff

We carry insurance and take our work seriously. However, to the fullest extent allowed by law, Discrete Pet Waste Management won't be held responsible for:

-Injuries or damage caused by your pets.

-Preexisting conditions or hidden hazards in your yard you didn't tell us about.

-Any indirect or consequential damages (like if you have to cancel a party because of a messy yard).

-Our total liability for any claim will never exceed the cost of the service visit in question.

7. The Simple Stuff

You can cancel or pause your service at any time with notice.

We may update these terms occasionally, and we'll post the new version on our website.
